On October 21, 2024, the Portuguese multinational SONAE surprised many by announcing the departure of Abdias Géraud NOBIME, a Beninese project manager who had been praised for his professionalism and dynamism as the youngest director within the company.
Having started in January 2023 as the strategic development officer for a commercial expansion project in Luxembourg, Abdias NOBIME quickly gained recognition.
His contract, initially set to extend until January 2025 for renewal consideration, has unexpectedly been terminated today.
