Requirements for a Turkey Visa

There are a few requirements that must be met in order to obtain a Turkey visa. These requirements vary depending on the visa category that you are applying for, so it is important to consult the Turkish consulate or embassy in your home country if you have any questions about the specific process.

The most common type of Turkey visa is the tourist visa, which allows citizens of participating countries to visit Turkey for up to 30 days without having to apply for a special permit. Citizens of EU countries, Iceland, Norway, Switzerland, and Lichtenstein can stay in Turkey for 90 days without a visa.

To apply for a Turkish tourist visa, you will need your passport valid for at least six months after your planned departure from Turkey and proof of onward travel (a ticket). You may also need to provide evidence of sufficient funds (around $60 per day) and copies of your passport photo and other travel documents.

If you are applying for a work or residency permit in Turkey, you will need to submit an application form along with photocopies of your identification cards and passports. The application process can take up to two months and requires an interview with an immigration officer. TURKEY EMERGENGY VISA

Please note that some nationalities do not require a visa to enter Turkey; these include American citizens, British citizens who are holders of biometric passports (issued since 2009), Australian citizens who are holders of an e-Visitor or MyKad card, Canadian citizens holding a valid passport
